Patrícia is a final year Ph.D. candidate in the lab, where she founded the The Robot-Creativity Project, a project that seeks to investigate the potential of social robots as tools for creativity development in children.

Patrícia is a cross-disciplinary researcher whose work lies in the intersection of psychology, design research, and engineering-related fields. Patrícia was awarded an international Ph.D. scholarship that involves Cornell University (USA), the Technical University of Lisbon (Portugal), and the Institute of Social Sciences (Portugal). Her supervisors are Guy Hoffman, Patrícia Arriaga, and Ana Paiva.
